Learn the Letters with Both Your Eyes and Your Ears with Alphabet
This stack was developed so that pre-schoolers and kindergarten children can learn the letters of the alphabet. The script randomly picks a letter when the player clicks on the face, then he or she must push the right button. If the player does not click on the right button, the letter on the button will still be heard.
The stack is a bit on the heavy side as it contains several sounds, however once loaded it works well, even with a compact Mac (it was tested with HyperCard 2.4 on a Macintosh Classic II).
This stack is in French (from Québec) only, however translating it in another language would be as simple as recording new sounds and replacing them in the file with ResEdit, or another resource editor. If you do, please send me your translated version and I will add it here, with credits.
You can download this stack in the following formats:
BinHex 4.0 (.hqx) - French
StuffIt (.sit) - French
